CREAM PUFF (CHOUX PASTRY)

Cream puff with creamy custard fillings,

INGREDIENTS

^ 4 OZ or 1/2 cup unsalted butter

* 1 cup water

* 1/4 teaspoon salt

* 4 eggs (small)

* 1 cup all purpose flour

INSTRUCTION

1) Put butter and water in saucepan on a low heat. Turn off the heat once butter is melted

2) Add in the flour and salt. Stir quickly until the dough is formed and does not stick in the sauce pan. Let it cook for at least 1-2 minutes.

3) Transfer the dough to the large bowl and let it cool for 10 minutes. 

4) Using electric mixer in low speed, beat in the eggs one at a time until the mixture is well combined and sticky.

5) Using frosting plastic bag with open startipp of just cut into a small opening) scoop the dough into plastic bag.

6) Baked in a pre-heated oven at 425 F for about 10 minutes or until turn brown. Remove from the oven and serve warm or let it cool for a few minutes to add the cream fillings.

EASTER CAKE, CUPCAKE AND CAKEPOP

For Easter i baked cake, cupcakes and cake pop from cake scraps

CHOCOLATE CAKE

INGREDIENTS

* 2 cups all purpose flour ( i used selfrising flour)

* 2 cups granulated sugar

* 3/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder

* 2 teaspoons baking powder

* 1 1/2 teaspooons baking soda

* 1 teaspoon salt

* 1 teaspoon espresso powder

* 1 cup milk

* 1/2 cup vegertable oil ( i used canola oil)

* 2 eggs (room temperature)

* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

* 1 cup boiling water

* CHOCOLATE BUTTERCREAM FROSTING

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1) Preheat oven to 350 F , i used 6 inch round baking pan and regular 12 pcs cupcake pan

2) Add all dry ingredients to a large bowl or the bowl with the stand mixer. Whisk to combine or uisng paddle attachment. Stir the miixture until well combine.

3) Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs and vanilla to the flour mixture and mix together on medium speed well combined. Reduced speed and gradually add the boiling water. Beat on highspeed for 1 minute to add air in the batter. Note the batter is thin.

4) Distribute tha batter to the baking pans.

5) Bake to 30-35 minutes or until the toothpick inserted to the center of the cake comes out clean.

Let cool to start frosting

Valentines Day Gift

Looking for something diffent for Valentines Gift, try something unique but still sweet and romantic. I make this for my love. I used chocolate bar and i melt white chocolate and i used toothpick as a pen.

Valentines Day

Oh so fast tomorrow is Valentines Day. A Love day. Hmmmm,,,14 February 2017 is Tuesday, a day we need to go to work unless you apply for a holiday. SO im planning to make a special breakfast not just a toast bread with butter and egg but make it something different so i make this (see photo) a simple breakfast and easy to do and with a cup of coffee and of course sealed it with a kiss.
